2022 marks 50 years of drumming for Marty Fullard
MULTI-AWARD WINNING professional drum educator Marty Fullard has coached thousands of drummers since 1978.
Many achieving their own success with bands or as;
- Studio drummers
- Drum educators
- Session drummers (touring/theaters & shows)
Drumming is for everybody, period.
Marty has lost count of the of drum teachers he has coached & mentored establishing the creation of Professional Drum Teachers Guild in Southern California in 2007.
Marty has always customized individual programs and paradigms, more often than not, encouraging drummers to play outside of the box and unchained.
There is always an emphasis on technique, born out of the the drummers' unique style.
Grooves, and especially the pocket are crucial, from this comes the ability to stay in time and ultimately "own" the band or drum chart.
As a published Author, Marty encourages sight reading.
His experience with drum line and Marching means his drumming paradigm is manufactured on the American Rudiments. Marty has always prepared drummers for their journey, and whatever form that may take. Enjoy!
